combined with physical therapy and rest, and is

When taking Carisoprodol, you should follow your
doctor's instructions carefully. Drink a full glass of
water with each dose. Do not take more than four
1400mg pills in one day. Ask your doctor, nurse, or
pharmacist if you have any questions.

Effects |

If you experience any of these
serious side effects, stop taking immediately and seek
emergency medical attention: an allergic reaction
(difficulty breathing; closing of your throat;
swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
paralysis or extreme weakness; loss of vision;
agitation or tremor; black, red, or bloody stools; or
if you vomit blood..
Less serious side effects may be more likely to occur.
You may continue to take the medication and talk to
your doctor if you experience any of the following:
drowsiness or dizziness; insomnia; headache;
depression; blurred vision or small pupils; hiccups;
faint ringing in the ears; or nausea, vomiting, or
constipation. Other side effects not listed here may
also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect
that seems odd or that is especially bothersome.

Carisoprodol Warnings |
|
Those with acute intermittent porphyria should not
use this drug. Products containing codeine may be
habit forming. They should be used only under a
doctor's supervision, especially for those with drug
or alcohol addiction. Inform your doctor if you have
an ulcer in your stomach or intestines, liver
disease, kidney disease, a bleeding or
blood-clotting disorder, hypothyroidism, urinary
retention, an enlarged prostate, a head injury, or
Addison's disease. If you have any of these
conditions, you might need to use a lower dose or
undergo additional monitoring. Never mix
Carisoprodol and aspirin if you are pregnant, or if
you are breastfeeding. Carisoprodol is not meant to
be used by those under twelve years old.

Many drugs can increase the
effects of Carisoprodol and lead to heavy sedation.
Before taking this medication, you should inform your
doctor of ANY medication you are taking, or have taken
recently. This includes prescription medication and
any over-the-counter medication.

Carisoprodol Missed Dose |
|
If you miss a dose of Carisoprodol,
you should skip that dose, and resume with the next
scheduled dosing. You should never double up on this
medication.

keep Carisoprodol out of the reach of children.
